Pattern: 

KOYA’s Head

Round 1: 6 SC in a magic ring (6 STS)
Round 2: 6 INC (12 STS)
Round 3: (SC, INC) x 6 (18 STS)
Round 4: (SC x 2, INC) x 6 (24 STS)
Round 5: (SC x 3, INC) x 6 (30 STS)
Round 6: (SC x 4, INC) x 6 (36 STS)
Rounds 7-12: SC all around (36 STS for 6 rows)

Shape the Head

Round 13: (SC x 3, DEC) x 6 (30 STS)
Round 14: (SC x 3, DEC) x 6 (24 STS)
Round 15: (SC x 2, DEC) x 6 (18 STS)
Stuff the head with fiberfill.
Round 16: (SC, DEC) x 6 (12 STS)
Add more stuffing to firm it up.
Round 17: 6 DEC (6 STS)

  • Leave a long tail, cut the yarn.

  • Use a yarn needle to weave through the front loops of the last 6 stitches and pull tight to close.

  • Secure the tail by inserting it through the center of the head and hiding it inside.

Ears (Make 2)

Round 1: 6 SC in a magic ring (6 STS)
Round 2: 6 INC (12 STS)
Round 3: 10 SC, DEC over last 2 STS, then SLST.
Leave a long tail for sewing.

Nose (Using Purple Yarn)

  1. Chain 5

  2. Starting from the 2nd chain from the hook, work 3 SC. Turn.

  3. Cut yarn, leaving a tail for sewing.
