It Took Time… But My Sakura Crochet Book Cover Is Ready ๐ŸŒธ

๐ŸŒธSakura Book Cover! ๐ŸŒธ

Hello lovely makers!

Hi again, and this time, I’m showing up with something new and very close to my heart.

It’s not my first pattern, but it’s definitely one of the most personal ones I’ve ever shared.

I’m so excited to finally share something I’ve poured my heart into, the Sakura Crochet Book Cover pattern is now available on Ravelry!

๐ŸŒธ Introducing the Sakura Crochet Book Cover ๐ŸŒธ

A beginner-friendly crochet pattern inspired by journaling.

This pattern is extra special to me. Journaling is a huge part of my daily life. I write everything down, thoughts, to-do lists, future plans, crochet ideas... you name it. My notebooks are basically my second brain (and I have a lot of them ๐Ÿ˜‚).

One day, one of my favorite notebooks started to wear out, so I decided to crochet a cozy little cover to protect it.

When one of my favorite journals started falling apart, instead of tossing it, I thought:

“Why not crochet a cute little cover to save it?”

(The image is AI-generated, so it might not look exactly like the real piece, but it captures the vibe!)

Around the same time, I was crocheting a sakura flower motif, and that’s when the idea clicked.
I didn’t follow any pattern. I just went with the flow, stitching while playing with a sakura flower motif. And I just let the yarn guide me.

Then I posted it online… and fast forward two years (yes, two ๐Ÿ˜…), it's finally getting noticed.

And so many of you loved it and started asking for the pattern!

After lots of starts, stops, edits, and pep talks, I finally sat down and told myself:
“Let’s finish it.”
So here we are.

This design is perfect for giving new life to your favorite notebooks, or turning it into a meaningful handmade gift.

It’s Been a While ๐ŸŒธ

Hey there ๐ŸŒธ

It’s been a while since I last wrote here. No big stories, no dramatic reasons, just life being life. Some days were heavy, some quiet, some a little blurry. I’ve been moving through them the best I could, holding onto the little things that bring me comfort. And for me, that’s always been crochet.

I took a break, not from crocheting, but from sharing. Life hasn’t been the friendliest lately, and I needed space to breathe. To pause. To rest. To reset. But through it all, my yarn and hook never left my side.

Crochet has been my quiet companion, my soft escape from the noise of the world. I’ve still been creating, slowly finding my way back again, one project at a time. Stitch by stitch.

While I was away, I kept jotting down ideas, little sparks of inspiration that I look forward to slowly bring to life. And now, I’m here again. No pressure, just presence.

I’m grateful to still have this little corner. And I’m excited to share what I’ve been working on.

Thank you for still being here, whether you’re a silent visitor, a kind reader, or someone who just stumbled in. Your presence means more than I can explain.

See you in the next post. I’m so glad you’re still with me ๐ŸŒธ

With love,
